SSC Multi-Tasking Non Technical (MTS) 2020-21 Important Dates, Pay Scale, Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Syllabus
SSC MTS Recruitment 2020 is conducted by Staff Selection Commission for Multitasking Staff posts in various government departments and offices. SSC MTS 2020 registration has been scheduled to start on 02-02-2021 till 18-03-2021. SSC MTS 2020-21 Paper 1 will be conducted between July 1st 2021 till July 20th 2021.

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC MTS exam in two stages – Paper 1 (Computer Based Test) and Paper 2 (Descriptive Test). The total time duration for Paper 1 is 90 minutes and for paper 2 is 30 minutes. SSC MTS 2020 Paper 1 will consist of four sections, namely, General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness. Paper 2 is a descriptive paper comprising of 1 writing question which can be either a short essay or a letter.
Pay Scale:
The multi-tasking staff is a general central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, a non-ministerial post that falls under Pay band-1 (Rs.5200 – 20200) + Grade Pay Rs.1800. SSC MTS salary comes to be around Rs.18000- Rs.22000.

Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2020. (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2002)
Apart from the pre mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Policies.

SSC MTS 2020-21 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2020 will be conducted in 3 different levels: Paer-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test). Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the 8th schedule of the constitution.

SSC MTS Syllabus For Paper 2
SSC MTS Paper 2 is intended to test elementary language skills in view of categorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.
- One short essay/letter in English or any other language included in the 8thschedule of the constitution
Paper-II is only qualifying in nature. However, marks scored by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more than one candidate score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.
